CSR: A Way of Life at Resilient
Overview
At Resilient, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not a compulsion, but a feeling of obligation towards the community. CSR has been infused into the very fiber of our organization. Giving back to the society is a way of life at Resilient and we are proud of our social responsibility activities. After all a business that makes nothing but money is a poor business. We want Resilient to make a positive impact on humanity.
Since the birth of Resilient in 1997, our founders have sown the seeds of a strong culture of social responsibility in the family of Resilient.

Mamta Foundation - A dream fulfilled!
We are currently committed to the children and women of Mamta Foundation, a project dedicated to the welfare of HIV+ children and women. Established in 2008 and registered under the Charitable Trust Act of India, Mamta Foundation is the world to 40+children and 2 women who are HIV+ and have been shunned by their near ones.
One of the basic things they were in need of was their own house. Resilient along with donations from doctors and donors from the society raised funds and brought a smile on their faces by housing them in their own building in 2017.
A monthly monetary donation goes to Mamta Foundation to help make life a little better for these children. Annual events and religious festivals are celebrated with the children and women of the Foundation. Our sister concern Geneombio Technologies routinely tests these children for HIV viral loads, CD4, etc. free of charge.
Mamta which literally means Mother’s Care, is our passion towards helping these young kids lead a respected and joyful life.
Every new recruit in Resilient spends quality time with the Foundation as an exercise in induction and orientation to the “culture of giving” that Resilient promotes and is proud of. Our directors Mr. Sachin and Mrs. Anagha Purohit are trustees of Mamta Foundation since past 12 years.
Help during natural calamities
Over past 25 years, team Resilient has always extended help during natural calamities, be it Kerala floods, Sangli floods or Konkan floods. Resilient team carried essentials and daily necessities and distributed them to the affected families.
It was our founder Mr. Sharad Purohit who sowed the seeds of social responsibility in every individual working for team Resilient, be it a senior manager or even an office boy or driver. All these individuals make it a way of life to care for people in distress.
Over the past many years our teams have rushed to affected areas to distribute daily essentials or contributed one/two days salaries to be donated to ‘PM relief fund’, ‘Sakal relief fund’ and many other charities that work for the rehabilitation of displaced families during such disasters.
Late Shri. Sharad Purohit Scholarships for Excellence
Education is the backbone of everyone in this world, a distant dream for many in India. As an initiative towards this, Resilient has launched various scholarships especially for the underprivileged children, in the honor of Late Shri Sharad Purohit, the founder of Resilient. He believed in the power of dreams and knew that a helping hand, at the right moment, can make a positive contribution in a person’s life. The scholarships are awarded for academic excellence as well as excellence in other fields like Sports and Arts. We hope that these Scholarships will motivate the children to dream bigger and work harder to fulfil their dreams!
